Picked up a rugged (& inexpensive) Mover's Dolly at Harbor Freight: 11"x18", 5" high. Padding it with a patio chair cushion it fits my butt perfectly for scooting about adjusting valves, mounting wheels without strain, etc. - even exterior detailing without back bending - And it doubles as a rolling tool caddy when I have to awkwardly contort myself on the creeper for under the car tinkering.
