buying a beck speedster

There's a number plate on the right in front of the gas tank under the front closure.

i send an email to the beck factory and received already the info i need

i took a look at the car today and  it Looks perfect

 

i found the vinnumber in de left door and matches with the papers so thats already good,

the car whas also really short registerd in England and also These papers match with the vinnumber in the door

 

i also have the Indiana tittle from when the car left the Beck factory in 2011.

 

between the seats i found the other number that start with 356 XXX XXX

 

but the vinnumber starts with MV1 XXXXXXXXXXXX

 

so i just send an email to the back factory to ask why there is a diffrents between Frame and vinnumber?

 

the tag in the front next to the fueltank has only the beck logo on it ,no number

 

 the car is going to belgian Registration and check up this week,when everething is ok i buy it .

 

 

so am waiting now and see what happens

 

Since this car seems to have been titled in Indiana it will have both a chassis number 356.000.XXX and an Indiana VIN number MVINxxxxxxIND
The plate in the front trunk and the one stamped into the chassis will reflect the chassis number 356.000.XXX and the door tag will have year, chassis number, and MVIN.

 the car past the belgian checkup and Registration ,it took 5 houres and a lot of explaining to the People from Registration about the vin number and al the papers .

 

They also found a number somewhere underneat the car in the tubeFrame ,i still have to figure out about that ,i look at it when the car is here at my place.

 

the owner had to drive back there 3 times because he also needed to put some reflectors on the back of the car and some other stupid belgian Registration crap.

 

the car whas al ready registererd in belgium in 2013 and now they didn´t understand how that was possible ???

 

so at the end ist ok and am picking up the car on saterday en drive it home ,ist like a 30miles drive .

i have the car at my home ,the drive saterday whas great, i was lucky with the weather also because the forecast was rain but i made it home just in time before the bad weather arrived .

 

the other number they found in the tube Frame is the same as the one on the door tag so the official Indiana state vinnumber .

 

thats for belgian Registration the only number they except ,the vinnumber in the tubeframe 

 

on the drive home i saw that the enginetemperatur and the rpm gauge are not working ,still have to fix that but thats a question for the technical Forum here.
