sold my speedster out of state. Still have the plates. After looking at the DMV site it's unclear to me
if some one else can use them. I know that they can be transferred with the car, by filling out a form for the new owner. Anyone know or interested in them? If not, they will become a garage decoration

i think if U let the plates expire they go back into the "pool"
They are current until March of 2022
If you can find out if they are transferable without the car, I’d advertise on RennList and PP. I imagine you could get a pretty penny for those plates. I’d say 356 registry too, but IIRC, you have to have a real 356 to register in order to post in their classifieds.
We have given back both of these CA plates, and I think that they are available.😊
