Hi,

I'm currently building a 356 Speedster replica in the UK and after the Dash Eyebrow. I only could source parts made from wood, but these are quite expensive. Does anyone have a CAD file (STEP, IGES, STL) of the eyebrow so I can make a 3D printed part? A drawing with exact dimensions would work to, because I could model my own part.

Thank you.

Klaus

If  I would have a real part available I could do it myself and model the eyebrow. Unfortunately I don‘t have the car available nor the eyebrow. Could anyone probably scan the base shape as a jpg?! This would be enough to make the proper model. Much appreciated. I could upload the finish model as an STL-file for everyone to make their own part.

Thanks

You could make a card board piece with the radius of the eye brow,  Then make it out of wood shaping it with a rasp or sanding belt.  Cover it with stretched vinyl and staples and you'd never know it wasn't rubber.  They have those screws with wood threads on one end and threaded for a nut on the other to mount it.  You could do same for the other across the dash trim.
