I moved to Phoenix a year and a half ago and have a set of black on yellow plates with a 1957 sticker.
I have wanted to hold on to them as a way to deny moving to the "valley of the sun" or hell as I like to call it.
It seems a shame not to have them on a speedster.
They are legal as I had them on my car (please, no jailhouse lawyer comments on the legality of my registration when I was in Cali) and they look brand new.
I am look for $250 for the pair.
I will take photos and post to interested parties.

Check this out. To use any old plates you'll have to register them as special plates and pay the fees each year. Why not order the special plate number of your choice and then buy a nice set of plates from LICENCEPLATE.TV for 80 each. I'm telling you, you can not tell the difference as they are stamped out metal and look just like the real thing. A few of my customers have done this and they have had no problems.
