I used the air hose on mine after I got it.  Don't wash the duster as it has paraffin wax in the threads which is what picks up the dust. If you don't have an air hose shake it off really, really well.

Bill, is correct on this in using the Cali Blue Wheel Duster after the Red, the wheel duster is microfiber also a quick detail spray of your favorite product and wipe off with a clean microfiber towel helps to remove any final residue and brings out a luster and shine to the finish. I've been using them for years...seems the dirtier they get the better they work. Using an air hose on them after using works quite well in removing collected dust and loose fibers...just don't use an air hose on it near a vehicle though...or you'll end up having to dust it again.

no I am telling u, I have used the dusters for 10 years and never have had this problem

What gets rid of the "Blue" dust left by the "Blue" duster?

Gordon, I think using the Red then the Blue duster mixes the particles from both to create green ity bity particles. (or was that yellow and blue makes green?) When you use the green one it will hide the mix of red and blue dust....I know I know....how do you get rid of the Green particles now....
