Anyone got a set of decent calipers for sale? I could use a pair of ATE or Girling front calipers in decent condition. I have extra pads, need the calipers with pins, and clips.

Let me know price plus shipping to Kingston, MA 02364 and I'll transfer the coin via PayPal asap, OK?

Thanks,

T
Saw those, but I really don't like the TRW products all that much. I had a go around with a new TRW steering box and totally stay way from the TRW master cylinders after buying junk and having it replaced with more junk.

Really rather have either ATE or Girling/OEM issue calipers if I can find some.

Thanks, though-

T
Hi,

Yes, exactly! As long as they're complete with hardware retaining spring metal plate and pins for securing the pads, I can use them. Been have a terrible time locating the hardware kits to rebuild my calipers. Lots of replacement calipers, and seals about, but no small metal bits and pieces for anything other than the Girling brand.

This is, of course, how it begins. Then other replacement and rebuild parts fall away and have to be hoarded. I searched for over a year trying to find a distributor for my Matchless. Somehow, I just didn't see the VW fitting into this area though. Hadda happen, I guess, I'm seeing this more and more.
Thanks,

T
