Calling Dr Clock, Cory, TC?

You guys know I have the fiberglass toneau cover. My quest is to find latches to secure it and yet be able to remove to use the top as needed. Any idea where to locate them or better ideas?

Michael....Try McMaster Carr....They carry a large line of latches and hardware, primarily for industrial applications....Good Luck...

Do a search for "dzus fasteners"
I was a little stunned to see how many types there are.
Early Triumphs used them for side curtains
Nowadays they are popular for motorcycle fairings and aircraft panels

Why not get some Drauz top latckes from Klasse 356 have him send you just two to look at and see if they will work for you But i think they will ,,,,and they are pretty.

Yeah, Jamestown Distributors (which started in Jamestown, RI, but have since moved to Bristol) have a whole lot of different stuff. I used them a lot when I still had my sailboat, and a lot of the Marine stuff found a home either in my car or shop.

Prices are reasonable, quality is very good and they're knowlegable when you talk with them on the phone.

Don't ask me where I got it from, I think it arrived here on one of the past speedster projects.

Adapted a two pins in the rear portion. You can glass in two wooded blocks with horizontal steel pins . The front portion use a few Dzus fasteners on the front.

Joe...you amaze me.. sounds like a good idea...but why wooden blocks? I can make or just fit two deck pins and go thru the inner lip of the cover...and then do it in the front too...then they are pinned in tight!

I would think the easiest hardware would be the VS header bow clips
two on the rear tub near the corners and that's all you would need
(that's all I would do) as the front would be affixed to the header bow. ~Alan
