Yes, the car is finished. Oh yes, it was worth the wait. Took its first Coast Highway cruise last weekend and performed beyond my expectations. Currently back at JPS getting a couple of rear badges and some adjustments.
I've learned at lot doing this one and will share soon.

I thought you were going type4, did I read the detail wrong?
Or is the shroud type1 but the engine is type4?

The original plan was for a 914 Type IV. However, John Steele and I decided to try a 2332 cc Type I - a newer configuration from John's engine builder, Serrano. Loads of power (180 hp or so), gobs of torque. So far I like it (it's still early). But, like a few things on this build, the engine choice is semi-experimental. John and I both want to know how this motor will perform over time before it officially becomes a JPS option.

Beautiful John! The color absolutely exudes class, no kidding. It's a dynamite combination with the interior color and the capless wide fives really set it off. Congratulations. I hope to see it up close and personal some day. Happy motoring.
