I'll bet that used to be a CMC. It's got some of the same hallmark chassis characteristics mine used to have. There's the rounded footwell arch, the two-inch box that's braced to the rear of the shift coupler and the two inch and a half pieces of round stock coming straight back from behind the seats, just off the top of my head.
It's also got that trademark gap between the engine tin and the rear apron. That's got to be the same three-inch gap folks were busy pointing out a month or so ago when it started getting warm out.

But for a couple grand ... Might be worth a shot. It does have the virtue of being prepared for a body.
