I would like to know if there is anyone who lives in Fremont CA.

I am looking at a cobra replica and would like to know if someone could take a look at it and let me know if it is worth buying?

If so, what would you pay?

His name is Wayne
His number is 510-656-5844
His address is 349 merlin court - Fremont Ca - 94539

I live in Greenville SC and cannot afford to fly out there if I am to expect to have it shipped here if I buy.

If someone can help me out, I would be soooo grateful. I could pay your gas cost or what ever...

Thanks,
John Wodecki

John - Here's some other options. It will cost you a little, but you can get a comprehensive list of information that are guaranteed against your purchase should something go wrong.

Make sure you read the fine print - advisable as with any contract

Good Luck - Mel
You guys are awesome !!
Mel, Thanks for the information. I looked at the three sites you gave me. They look good but would be a better deal if the car was finished. Right now the car is about 60% complete with no running engine.
Paul Hartford said that he was thinking of taking a road trip with another guy to take a look. That's a possibility as well...
Theron, waiting a couple of weeks may not be a bad thing because this guy left for vacation friday night and will not return until next week.

The main items that I am concerned about would be the condition of the engine, frame and body. I am not expecting it to be "show condition" but I also don't expect to spend 20K to finish it either.

If the car is solid and buildable, it will probably be OK.
Last thing, I would like your opinion (whoever gets to look at it) what you think it would be worth?

I will post again when I reach this guy and set up a date.
Thanks to everyone.
John
Hey guys,
I'm back with my request.
I spoke to the guy this week because he has been on vacation since I posted this request.
He told me that it would be just fine for anyone to stop by to take a look at the car.
How does this weekend look????
He asked me to have whoever is stopping by to give him a call in advance to make sure he is there.
Here again is the information:

Thanks a BUNCH !!
John
Thanks to everyone for their help.
It looks like I will be finishing the speedster after all !
I have decided that the 427 cobra that I was looking at would need some substantial investment !!!
I guess it is time to post my current speedster pictures and get myself motivated to get this beast on the road.
John,

Do you have any more pics or info on the picture titled "Winner" in your file? It looks like a pre-A judging by the dash, and has a slight up swept area just behind the door jams, almost like it started as a Cabrio and ended up a Speedster or sorts. It's just beautiful, I'd love to know/see more.

Luck with your speedster! Best to stay away from Cobra replicas for a time, until the "troubles" shake themselves out, anyway.

TC
TC,
Unfortunately I do not have any more pictures of that car.
This was an awsome car show in Ashville NC.
There were 250 "ORIGINAL" Speedsters for show with many more in the parking areas. They had to turn people away due to lack of space.
Let me know if you are ever interested in visiting NC or SC where I live and i could give you details of the show ect...
Thanks for viewing my site. I will be placing my car pictures in there soon. I'm about 60% complete. Just need a little motivation to get it done. Tim Prichard, if your out there, this means you !!!
