If you are talking about the inflatable 'garage' that goes around the whole car, I had one for my MGTD and although it worked ok, it was generally a pain in the aft to use, you have to be very careful around it, it punctures pretty easily (mine came with a repair kit though).
Keep the dirty side down!
Jen,
I have used a Harley capsule for my bike for years. Best investment that I ever made. Keeps bike clean, dust free, and filters the air that circulates thru the Bubble!. Also has a desicant to keep humidity and rust away.IMHO, well worth the money, plus you get to admire your ride even when you are unable to drive it. Kind of like a Speedster Shrine!! I know many Street Rod guys that use them.
Thanks Allan, I thought it sounded like a great idea. We park the Tub in the garage and one other car, but we put the 3rd car in a cart port thing, I was thinking of putting the porsche in the car port with the car capsule for winter/Rainy season and putting the other car in the garage. Sounds fairly easy to put up and down, its a great idea. I was going to get the one meant for outdoors.

Thanks again for your reply.
Jennifer, I purchased a "car Pocket" that is not inflatable but serves the same purpose to cover the car. It is for outdoors, has a floor and zippers the car inside so it is protected from all angles.
I bought it for my Ghia because I thought I would need to store it outdoors, it is currently in my mothers garage...go to www.budgecovers.com I still have it in the box so I havn't used it yet.....
I used a car-capsule for my black IM for a couple of years. A couple of things I learned: use a light car cover before rolling the plastic of the capsule over the car (prevents light scratching they tell you won't happen); putting 1/4" masonite as flooring keeps the capsule floor in place when the car is being used and makes it easy to roll a jack under the car without possible damage to the capsule floor.

Another thing, the one I had used an adhesive to bond the zipper to the floor. After about 3 years of Sacramento heat, the glue softened up and the zipper started to pull loose.
Jennifer, I can imagine that the bubble in the carport would be an invitation to neighborhood cats and other critters to climb/claw their way onto (or into) it. I'd think you'd be better off using one in a garage.
I'd hate to see you spend all that money and have some stray or opportunistic bird screw it up for you.
