Do some research in Hemmings. They have a number of listings. I prefer the non-waterproof type, they're softer and will not hold moisture against the paint. Then in winter I use the "Carbag" to zip up the antiques in an airtight, moisture proof zipper bag with the soft waffle type cover protecting the paint. In the spring when I unzip the bag, there's nothing there but whatever was on the car when I closed up the bag in the late fall. Just try to close it up on a day when the relative humidity is as low as we can expect around here. On the outside of the bag, there will be condensation on those wet days when the temperature rises and moisture hangs heavy in the air-but none inside the bag.
Oh wait, that's Alan posting--DON'T SPEND ANY TIME IN HEMMINGS, ALAN !!!
California Car Cover made mine and I am really happy. My car is a daily driver and sat all day in the socal sun all last summer w/ no fading. I paid about $300 for it and so far it is worth every penny. It's very compact(with it's own bag), easy to wash and is custom made for your type of car. Take a look at their online catalog.
Last year, Jim sent me a Falcon car cover. It's windbreaker material on the outside and flannel on the inside. I put that over top of the three-season perforated cover I already had; except for a bit of static electricity when I take them off the car, they do a fantastic job.
My car lives outdoors, so I added six painter's tarp clips to the mix, and the covers stay where I put them.

I wanted to follow up on my comment of the Cal. Car Cover The cloth is made by 3M and is called the superweave. We don't have severe weather like snow and low temps, but during the summer we have continuous 100+ days of sun and like I said before am very happy w/ the results. You can reach them at www.calcarcover.com or 800-423-5525.
Alan,
I just received a california car cover today. I bought it for the Morro Bay meet. It's the stormweave fabric. Very, nice. The fit is exceptional and the material is high quality. I assumed it came with a bag. I was wrong, turns out they are an extra $6. I would have bought one if I had known.

If you live in a humid area you really want it to breath, even if it does mean that the car will get wet. The last thing you want is to trap condensation against the paint, as that will permanently cloud it. I have a cover from Griot's Garage for my daily driver (stormweave, I think), that keeps the dirt and sun off, but allows moisture to go through. The car may not stay completely clean, but I know the paint is protected.
Boy oh Boy, some of you guys are real anal about the lengths you go thru to cover your car...
first of all, you should have a frigging garage to keep them in, then the only cover you need is for those times when your on the road overnight, I use a parachute cover for that because it folds up to about the size of a softball and we all know how room is always an issue...It may not protect the finish but all I'm trying to do is hide what it is and maybe protect it against sap and bird $hit....
When its in the garage I throw old comforters over it for protection.

Oh, I almost forgot, I live in a climate that is almost perfect for automobiles.....NEVERMIND....

I have found that all covers have a down side to them....
Stay away from the eBay covers!!! I bought one that was specifically listed for a 356 and it turned out to be about 3 feet to long. He has a different ad for just about every make of car out there, so it looks like it's custom made just for a 356. It has a tag that says "medium," so all this guy was doing was selling three different sizes, small, medium and large. I had to threaten him with bad feed back to get him to refund my money and my shipping, which he finally did.
