This hasn't been covered in the forum since 2016, so most info isn't current...What's the best deal going on a cover for a speedster? Off the shelf is fine if it fits even reasonably close.....cheap is preferred. It's only a plastic car after all.

I use the cheap Budgie ones you car find at the local auto stores. It's not an outdoor cover - just a lightweight dust cover for the garage. I actually use this for spring, summer, fall, and a car capsule during winter.
My car is too spoiled - might as well pour it a hot tottie to keep it warm during the winter too.

My car sits in a garage but I cover it in winter with a cover I won at a Carlisle raffle. It's pretty close to this one:
That’s a very inexpensive cover, Gordon— perhaps perfect for traveling, depending on how small it packs. Any direction on that?
I wouldn't travel with that one - it's a bit too heavy material and "packs" (with the help of a couple of lightweight Jack Russells) into a bag the size of a big Gym bag ( 18" dia. X 22" tall). A little big for travel, so I left it home on trips.
For trips, I have a cover made from lightweight parachute material - it was what came with the CMC kit when I ordered their "car cover". That one packs into a bag slightly bigger than a wine bottle but removed some of the curiosity when parked at a motel. Definitely NOT weather resistant - It's about as water-tight as most Speedsters. But it is almost perfect for an indoor winter cover as it does not let dust through.

Cheap Budgie?
Doesn't it's wings get tired spread out over your Speedster for the entire Winter?
