I have a great, snug, three-season Wolf cover right now, but I'd like a fitted Speedster cover with the flannel inside and the wind-breaker material on the outside.
A Porsche logo would be nice, but not a requirement.
My 928s used to have covers with the logo in red, and they were always dry underneath.
Shame me to admit it, but the Sloppy Jalopy will be outdoors for the next month or two, and it's gonna be cold and wet.
Anybody got a lead to whoever makes the best available?

Uh, the lowest I could find near me is $279/mo. -- hardly a bargain. I'm going to wait until after paint to house it properly. Can't see wasting half my paint money ...
There are two offers on the table at the moment, one of which is the garage where the first half of the build was done. I don't like that particular option. The better offer is still outside, but under a lean-to carport. I'm probably going to do that, but I'll still need a cover that's better than the one I have.
In November of next year, I'm going to flip my townhouse and buy a joint with a decent garage.
Or move to Southern California.
Cory,
California Car Cover can fix you up! I've bought two covers for them. They had patterns in stock for the spyder and for a slant nose 911 turbo body with (or without)a whaletail.

Great quality and any type you want. You can also have them embroidered. Steve's for the slantnose says "911 Heaven" on the front.

Not cheap, but excellent materials, workmanship, warranty and fit.

Cory, I have a number of covers which i rarely use cause they seem to cause more of a problem than help in keeping the car clean, especially the one with the flannel interior which sheds all over the convertible top and requires me to use one of those rollers with the sticky $hit.....The only one I ever use is made from parachute mat'l and seems to work the best.
I don't know about the Converse, my brutha, but...

...a friend of mine was helping me build a rather tall wooden patio cover. I was holding one of the support beams as my friend climbed to the top. We were struggling with balancing the beam and taking accurate measurements when my neighbor witnessed our struggle and shouted out his window "hey, wouldn't it be simpler if you two IDIOTS just laid that beam down and measure it THAT way"!

I shouted back "We need to know how TALL it is, NOT how WIDE it is, you jack-a$$".

What a maroon!
Cory,
If you parking outdoors for awhile will you be able to open it up periodically or once it's covered it's covered for weeks at a time? The reason I ask is because Butch did an outdoor stretch once when I first got him and even though I used two covers, I still got some water standing in the back footwells... I had to pull up the carpet come spring and well, you know, lots of mopping.

To be forwarned is to be forarmed, or something like that. You smart guys can stew on that some.
Paul, believe it or not, I actually built drainage in! There are air-gaps in the space behind the seats where the diamond plate meets the chassis. No drainage problems yet, except for the plastic bucket seats.
And, BTW, one of our own from the Garden State has graciously offered me the use of the third bay in his garage. How cool is THAT? The Hoopty won't be outside for much this winter after all!
