All I know is that if the car doesn't move under its own power it's going to be more expensive in some instances and in some other instances they won't evern accept the car for transport. A lot of folks here have had good things to say about Van Damme Shipping (spelling?).
Joe,
Very important to tell the shipper the car does NOT run, but DOES roll, steer and have an operative e-brake.

Makes a big difference. We shipped a roller from Florida to Medford OR about two years go for $900. A vehicle that does not steer would have been VERY expensive to ship. Shipped it though a brokerage (don't recall who)which means you get whomever for the move. We were not too concerned about that as the roller was hit in the front so there was not a whole lot of damage they were going to do to it.
