NO worries Gabe, you did not miss much except maybe a new place for Jerry Springer to look for "Red Neck" talent.. LOL I just told Adrian that every older guy there with hair passed his shoulders would walk by and say "Under their breath" I thought this was an Amercian show. or now looks like we'll take any car.. LOL.. I could not beleive their ignorance.. The FUNNYEST thing about that was most of these guys cars are sitting on Low-profile Yokohama's! LMAO....

But there were some True CAR lovers that did like the Speedie and asked several questions, and one nice older gentlemen told me a story about his 57 and his time over seas in Germany! Whoa, what a story teller, that guy was very COOL indeed!

Speedster "D" OUT!
Speedster "D", my brutha!

If you're like me, I would have enjoyed the fact that my Speedster upset the 'status quo'! At this type of car meet, I usually pull up and park right smack in the middle of everything, preferably in a space marked 'Reserved' (obviously for someone else)and play my CD-loop of Wayne Newton's 'Dunkeshein' (or ANY Barry Manilow tune)!

I guess you overlooked the entry criteria;

1) Must have mullet hair cut.
2) If not enough hair for mullet, then 1 good tooth in prominent front placement or lengthy comb-over will be admitted.
3) Fiberglass deuces, coupes, rodders and roadsters are acceptable as long as they are frigging American.

Peace - Out! (chew can dew eeet, holmes)
Dave,
Thanks for "taking one for the team" at this show for us! Now you know -- next time, be sure to remember to bring your Trucker Cap (the one with the mullet hair sewn in the back), your Billy Bob teeth and your sleeveless plaid shirt. You'll fit right in!

With that "American Made Cars Only" mentality, I should be able to drive up in my Tundra, Camry or Accord and park right in the middle.
