Carberator Spacer problem has 2 cures

This is for Brian Coffie;;The engines that have factory Alts. use a differnt accelerator pump linkage that hangs rearward on the carb I think I know where one or two are. the carb spacer I found is to put a 30 pict on a duel port. NO HELP THERE!!. Georges, sugestion of making a new spacer would be a good fallback solution , But my friend is looking through his parts as I type. and he felt confident he had he carb linkages.
Yelp: he does have 2 linkage sets ..He also said if put a washer or 2 behind where the intake bolts to the case you sometimes can get just enough clearance to get away with it,

Brian the spacer you need is no longer avaible through T-Holf I have the 74 super beetle linkage and extra screws. HERE NOW!!!

I sent you a pic before removal and you can tell how they fit, and how clean they are.

The linkage itself shouid fit in a postal pack like they use for cassetes.

Now where do I send it?

So far its only cost me a trip to Mr Vestal. and a little tounge flapping.

Well.... Here is the result. The Linkage Barry Sent helped out a little but it was still interfering with the Alternator.... Thanks a Bunch.. Barry

I contacted all of my VW sources and located a compnay called Thebusdepot.com. They have a 34 PICT Solex Spacer Adpapter for the Intake Manifold. They sent it and it perfectly fit.

So the combination was perfect.
