OMG, I can't beleive we have the "Big Guys" coming out.. Both Dan, and Jim (El Guapo) If you guys can make it... I look forward to meeting the two of you. We will be meeting at the North east corner of Kraemer and Lambert rd. YES I beleive Kraemer is spelled that way. We are shooting for 9:00 am (Not TOO early yet not too late either) then heading out to Carbon Canyon from there. Gabe is going to post more information here too.

See you all tomorrow!

Dan & Jim,

Plan right now is to meet up with David Galvan at 9am at Lambert & Kraemer Blvd. Route is tentetive Carbon Canyon to Chino Hills Blvd OR Carbon Canyon to Soquel Canyon Rd (turn right) to Woodview Rd (turn right) to Pipeline (turn right) to Soquel Canyon Pky (turn Left) to Butterfield Ranch Rd (turn right) to Pine Ave (turn left) to Euclid Ave. (turn left) and then right on Merril Ave. and we're there.

I'll be driving the second route today on my way home to see if it is doable.

If not the Cargon Canyon to Chino Hills will do.

Gabe

Adrian, you KNOW you want to join us on this Carbon Canyon cruise. It sounds like doing this route shouldn't take too much time out of our day. Besides, my brutha, the weekend traffic on the southbound 5 will be no different (too many cars - not enough highway) regardless of when you get on it!

Hopefully there might be other Orange County SOC'ers reading this who decide to join in for a quick cruise, before going home and setting themselves on fire starting their Holiday bar-b-ques!

To all my SOC' brethren - WHATEVER you're doing this weekend, have a SAFE Holiday weekend!

Like Dusty says - "Happy Trails"!

The drive to Butterfield Ranch sounds good. That put everyone in close proximity to the 71/91 freeway interchanges near the Corona/Orange County border so that everyone can get on with their family priorities.

Ok fellow cruisers,

Dan, Jim, David, Adrian & Rick, here is the latest.
Adrian nice to see you will be able to make it!!!!!!
Rick will be my rightseater on this run. My son asked me if he could go too, but I had already asked my friend Rick to go. Anyone have a open right seat for him? If so, can you call me on my cell. I'm usually up till about 11pm. Thanks.

I drove the proposed route tonight with my wife and unfortunately some of the roads were closed at the beginning of the route. So there is a slight mod, but still a very nice ride. Here it is:

We will start at Lambert & Kraemer Rd at 9am. Cruise thru Carbon Canyon Rd to Chino Hills Pky (R), to Peyton Dr (R), to Woodview Rd (L), to Pipeline Ave (R), to Soquel Canyon Pky (L), to Butterfield Ranch Rd (R), to Euclid and continue Euclid to Merrill Ave (R), final destination Flo's.

My cell # is 714-262-7986

Thanks to all who joined in on this run!!!! Jim, Dan & son, David & son, Tom & Candice, Adrian and of course my right seater Rick the Photographer. Awesome videos Jim! I've just posted a few of my pics. Hope to see you all for the Lake Arrowhead run and I am still trying to set up a run toward the end of June for Temecula and Lake Skinner.

Take care all.

One more thing...

My neighbor is the Director of Operations for the Planes of Fame museum at Chino Airport (Mostly WWII planes - and an awesome exhibit you should check out!).

The next time we gather for a Carbon Canyon cruise, I'll see if he'll let us park our cars as a group in one of the hangars in front of a Flying Tiger or Black Sheep Squadron fighter for a group photo - I would definitely hang that picture in a prominant spot in my office!!

Later!
Jim,

Go ahead and set that up. I am willing to take that cruise anytime, as I'm sure some of the others are also. Thanks for the compliment. I was kind afraid that those dual glass packs would be to loud, but I love that sound also. It makes alot of heads turn.

My car started acting up on the way home again, so it looks like I'll be calling up Larry again. I need to make it to Lake Arrowhead this time.

I think we had just as many "Newbie's" as Vet's on this ride... What a blast, I think I like these short and sweet rides, but I am looking forward to the 10th if I do not have any family issues to handle. All you guys made it fun and thanks to Dan for coming out with that sweet ride of his.. Gabe you were a great point man for this ride thanks and of course your right seater.. great shots.. LOL I was very happy that my eldest son Dylan enjoyed the ride just as much as I did and taking pix too. I'll get those posted later... and of course our time in Flo's.. Man good food and conversation! Love that Pan-sand!

I gotta tell ya we turned a lot of heads that day though Carbon Canyon, and Chino Hills!
