I've fabricated engine bay liners both stainless and aluminum panels with baked on enamel.
I use sheets of paper, overlapping them and taped together to form each panel area.

Carbon cost have hit the roof lately . It's about $50 per yd . You really need to have the engine out of the car if you're really thinking for lining the engine bay with anything. Hey it's a little warmer down here than the North Slope. Only a few degrees the slope is at 6 F (real feel - 20 F) Chicago 10 F (real feel -8 F)
