The road to Carlisle, since I am the Carlisle area resident traffic reporter here's the latest.
Rt.78 west of Allentown, PA has two long term extensive road construction projects. The first, just west of Allentown will slow you down for under 15 minutes.
Further west on Rt.78, from the 28mm to the 34mm (depending on the time of day) is a pita with up to 45 minute delays w/ Friday late afternoons being at it's worst...also the PA. Troopers are serious with strict construction speed enforcement.
As you approach Carlisle on Rt.81 both North and South bound between the 57mm and 44mm they are enforcing 55 mph in the "No Fly Zone" with double speeding fines.
