Me Me! There's probably no big rush getting a room in Christiansburg but it might be nice to have it nailed down. I'll put it on my calendar so it doesn't fall through the cracks. Who's bringing the beer for Wednesday night? Nothing like a cool one after a long day's drive even if it isn't so long for me the first day. I guess I just like cool ones....;-)
I can bring some, but it won't be cold and you're likely to get there first. OR the first to arrive could buy some locally and save themselves the hassle of long distance transport. I'll split it if I don't get there first.

Other possible caravaners are:
- odwagerty (Kevin) who is trailoring his Speedie
- Leon Chupp (?) C'mon, Leon, join up wit' us. DannyP needs another Spyder to keep his company
- Tom Raymond - You know ya wanna, Tom
- Mike Lempert - My neighbor who makes the steering wheels is planning to come in his Bugeye Sprite (one of his 3 Healeys!) to take part in the Spridget-fest that weekend at Carlisle
- Anybody else in the GA, SC, NC, TN, VA area?
Quoting Lane - "Anybody else in the GA, SC, NC, TN, VA area?"

Tom (TN)usually works Bristol taking photos on Carlisle weekend, so he will probably not be available.
I'll work on Sean Howley from Maryville, TN. He has the yellow Perry Spyder and won the longest distance trailered award in 2006.
Greg Teeple from Nashville would probably love to come (Yellow VS Speedster) but hasn't made the trek since 2004. I'll work on him too.
I hope that Charles Gardner's (GA)SAS Coupe will be ready as he said he would enjoy the trip.
I really think it would be cool if we could convince a few more dudes to join the SE caravan.
BTW: the 800 number is useless. Gotta call the hotel direct: 717-243-8585.

And I have a double non-smoking room reserved for Friday and Sat., at the Ramada, which could be shared, if it comes to that. Also, be advised that the Extracuricular Planning Subcommittee (hereinafter, EPS) is looking to arrange a tour of the Harley ass'y plant in nearby York, PA for Friday AM, followed by a tour of a local brewery/winery for a (liquid??) lunch -- details to follow. This would put arrival back at the show sometime in the PM of Friday.

Still looking for the caravan way-points info for the southern and southwestern approaches. Understand this could be Thursday, which is fine, as I would consider a slight tag-along for some part of the caravan, if it can be coordinated. As I am only a couple of hours from the PA points of interest, would be looking to spend Thurs night at home. As mentioned before, I have plenty of room for other wanderers, if anyone would care to consider Highland MD 20777 as an overnight waypoint. As it stands, I may be coordinating w/ MUSBJIM and his arrival, currently thought to be BWI, maybe Thurs. There are more than a few details yet to be tied up, but a plan is taking shape . . .
Teresa and I are officially in for the Thursday, Friday and Saturday night events. We're confirmed in room 109. The woman on the phone said there were rooms still available in the block y'all set up.

Also, you Great Southern Caravan folks; will we be meeting you on Thursday in Front Royal, Va., or will we come south to pick you up on Friday? Current plan will be for the Speedster and the whiskey-ship VW Golf to head west on 66 to meet y'all on Thursday. I'd like to meet you sometime after mid-day where 66 intersects 81, but I know that's a hike for you folks.

Let us know, okay?
