I'll bring some Cock County Clear that I know is at least 8 years young!

Note that there are only 2 bottles of the Springbank available.

Oban? Is that a Hieland Malt, Lowland or Island Malt? Must be near the one that's sold here called "Old MacGregor". I'll see if I can find y'll some at less than $7.00/bottle! No sense wasting good Hieland Malt on the likes of us'ins!

Think that I'll wear me kilt!
Aye, Lad!

Of course, Alan, I'll wear me kilt, It's not only for the dinner; but you'll have to promise to keep the Lassies away!

Oban is a wee delicate Scottish Whisky...??? I dona think so! Hieland Malt is never delicate with the wondrous flavor of a cold, clear brown Hieland Loch (Gleann and Bhearraidh Lochs) that's wonder o'r the peat laden moors.
After searching for a restaurant that can handle 70 plus hungry individuals, we've reserved a private dining room at the Sunnyside restaurant for our Carlisle Saturday evening dining.
Check out: http://www.sunnysiderestaurant.com/
As some of you know they were slow to seat us as Citron Car Club had the same room at an earlier time as they were slow to wrap up their banquet.
We are the first group in this year and have been assured of being seated in a time mannerat 6:30pm. We'll be ordering off the extensive menu with individual checks.

On Friday evening, we'll return to the Carlisle All Star Cafe also at 6:30pm as we have in past years. This Cafe has good service, great food and grog.

As the date nears, Gordon will compile a reservation list for both venues.....Bon Appetite! ~Alan

Alan, that sounds great. Excellent work, as usual. Is anyone interested in a stein for a Carlisle souvenir?

Website says $14, but I don't know if that includes shipping, probably not, but still less than a twenty!

Then, there's Lane in his "Formative Years":

But.....if you want to see what Carlisle will be all about THIS year, take a look here:

Because we'll all be cruising to our Friday destination, here:

Followed by a terrific lunch in Mt. Gretna, and then the cruise back to the show field to register:

AND THAT'S JUST FRIDAY!!!
Leon:

Granted, you can only get just so far to the North before the Waffle Houses begin to thin out (like Virginia). If you have a Tom Tom GPS you can download a file that will show all of the Waffle Houses (and another one for IHOP's) right on your GPS and even find the closest one to you.

Of course, if you go far enough North, it's all over for Waffle Houses and you'll have to resort to Dunkin Donuts or Friendly's or something.....

Definitely avoid any Starbucks......unless you have a very loaded debit card!!

Hey! Can you make it to Daytona on the 24'th for the Rolex?? Don't know if I can take Pearl down (might not be able to park her near the paddock) but Chris and I will both be there.....

gn
Danny, we are planted thick with Waffle Houses down here as I'm sure you know. The closest one to me is in Lenoir City but Sarah and I found it to be a turnoff. It was full of good ole boys (and gals) and thick with smoke, kind of like parts of Kentucky and Virginia where I think the no smoking section is outdoors. Yuck! The food was OK, but give me Cracker Barrel any day, any mealtime.
