Carlisle 2009 Shirts

In addition to Danny's steins, I will also be getting shirts made. They will be good quality golf / polo shirts, with the logo embroidered on the left side of the chest.

I am still working out all the details with my vendor, but I'm thinking the shirts will cost around $20 each. They will be very nice quality shirts (not quite the top of the line, but not cheap). The shirts will be black or grey in color.

Please be considering if you will want and shirt, and send me a private email (teresa.h.drake@gmail.com) with your order (size and quantity). All are men's sizes.

I'm not sure when the cut-off for orders will be, but it will be soon.

I will bring the shirts to Carlisle for distribution. Anyone who wants one that isn't coming to Carlisle can have it shipped.

I will post here more information as I get it back from the vendor.

Just so you know, I'm really only paying attention to personal email in regards to orders. So if you posted here saying that you wanted something, you should send me an email if you haven't done that too.

If you send me an email, you will get a response. So if you send me and email and you didn't get some sort of confirmation, then I didn't get the email.

I will look into the t-shirt thing. Maybe I can do them also ... But I think for the t-shirts, I'd take the "CARLISLE 2009" off of the bottom, and make it just "SPEEDSTERS MEET SPYDERS" and the cars. That way they're timeless. Maybe I can do that on CafePress so that I don't have the overhead and the inventory to keep up with. T-shirts probably won't happen before Carlisle ... but maybe I can squeak them in!

I will happily ship shirts to anyone who wants them. I just can't ship before Carlisle. So if you're coming to the show, you'll get yours at Carlisle. If not, you'll get it, but a little later.

I still don't have any more details than I did before. I meet with my vendor on Monday or Tuesday.

I've gotten 30 or so orders, so this will be REALLY cool! I hope that everyone who is coming to Carlisle gets one. It'd make a GREAT picture!

UPDATE:

I met with my vendor today (she was out of town last week). In order to get the quality of shirt that I'm sure we'll all be happy with, the shirts are going to cost more than anticipated. I still don't have the exact price, but I should tomorrow.

The shirts will be black. They won't shrink much at all, and they breathe really well. I think it will be a very nice look and feel.

The cost on the shirts will be $30-$35 ($10 more than anticipated). XXL shirts may be $1 or $2 more than other sizes.

The good news is that it looks like they will be ready in 3 weeks! Plenty of time before Carlisle! While I *could* entertain the idea of shipping shirts out before the show, I think I'll just stick to the original plan of distributing them at the show. Those who will NOT be attending the show will have them by the time we're all in Carlisle. Shipping will be around $6 for USPS Priority.
