Badge birth at Carlisle...
I'm humbled to have my badge on Danny's car. It didn't make it go any faster, but I sure enjoyed the brief ride provided me Saturday afternoon. How stupid of me to forget to videotape the event...Fishtail-101

Sound like a thrill, Rich! And thanks for putting some names and faces together. I've seen your pic as well...and some of you guys.... are really old!
As we were filling up for departure, Marty pointed out that my 911 was the car of the day at the Union 76 station.

This won't win any Oscars, but what the hell do you expect if you weren't there in person? Sunday morning goodbyes.
Ted, to answer your earlier question, yes they did put a new windshield on David Stroud's car due to a crack/flying stone chip along the way to winning the "Furthest Driven Speedster" award. Unfortunately it had cracked iself overnight just sitting in the parking lot. But it was good entertainment on the showfield on Saturday afternoon. Notice that Todd is right there in the fray

Ugh. That's the worst. Any idea why it cracked just sitting there?
Someone looked at it wrong, Ted.
Actually I've been seeing that same picture for years at those stations. The programmer must be a 911 lover.
Here is a short little video I took as folks were heading back to the hotel Saturday afternoon . . . more than 1/2 the cars had already left, but I did get a few of the stragglers.

Also, evidenced by this rowdy group, Hoss' SAS posse was keeping their eyes out for outlaws.

Hmmm. TDrs, with five, would've been third place as a stand-alone group. And this even in our weakened state, with my car absent, Wobby MIA, you...switching sides...
I'm glad the Avenger group got recognition though. Those guys were cool.
