Alan, even with a sticker, they were not happy having daily drivers, like my SUV, on the field itself.  The “buggy people” made me move it to the side.   However, your mileage may vary. 

Past years when we were across for Debi's Buns the daily drivers would park one row back and off to the left on the grass. Now that we're relocation to the left of the main stage, if I remember there was room for the Daily Driver's along the building across from us.  Any who'...there is a lot of unused grass areas on the grounds.

I think it helps if your DD is something that would normally fit in to the import side of the show.  Anything sporting or interesting from overseas shouldn't raise an eyebrow.

Pf course Jeni got her '67 Mustang in one year with a window sticker that said "1967 Fjord".  Gotta love it!

The Fjörd was awesome!  😂❤️ The “Powers that Be” didn’t appreciate the Big Blue Chevy though. And you are right - I think they are much more lenient if your DD is European.

That has been fine in the past.  Some of us have done that.

They have been cracking down on this for the past couple of years. I have had to go to the gate and get a “support vehicle” sticker for it and park it to the side - off the field completely.

A few times I had pre registered a Speedster but for various reasons ( weather for one) ended up  just slapping my Speedster window sticker on my pick up truck and drove on through the gate . Just keep rolling past the "TSA look a' like Security Goon Squad" and avoid eye contact ~

Unfortunately DD is a Chrysler 300....Maybe I can Sharpie in a Le before the Chrysler. "Le Chrysler" ..voila! it's french!

What is this Carlisle you speak of?

Karyn and I think we are going to come up on Wednesday, weather permitting. We booked the room and told Charity we would cancel the day if we weren't coming. 

Either way, we are coming.

Glad you and Karyn  are coming ! Wednesday some of us arrive just to hang out and have dinner Thursday is when the hotel parking lot will fill up.

Hi David, I do not. However I will be getting my first one at some point this year. Going to Carlisle for full immersion into the madness! 

Heck, I used to get a separate sticker for my pickup and trailer so I could bring it onto the field and use it as a mini-lift for working under cars.  As long as you have a window sticker firmly attached, no one ever says anything.

You could always ride over with somebody.  There are usually a lot of empty right seats.

Or you could drive the 300 and take three of your best friends with you....

Kinda like going to the Drive In when you were in high school.

Welcome!!  Yes, Sir. The stickers  come in the mail -  usually about 2 weeks before the show.   Ish.

Well then there would be six in the car and four more in the trunk.

Just four weeks remain until Carlisle ! If you haven't reserved your Carlisle weekend Hotel room yet it's time to do so !  Courtyard by Marriott Shippensburg PA . 717 300 7026 Between 8:00 am & 4:00 pm  Monday through Friday. Direct reservations with Charity Shreffler Event Manager.   Make sure to mention Speedster's Owners . Breakfast's are included !  Breakfast buffet on Friday morning and their Bistro Breakfast vouchers for Saturday and Sunday mornings ~

So the speedster is ready for the trip, I got my ticket for the show field. And the room is reserved. What else do I need to do before I head out? The dinner at the hotel ,do I need to reserve a spot?

 You have a room for Thursday night so you're in for the BBQ Buffet, the cost will automatically be added to your room's folio.   Safe trip!

Hey Tab!  There is one more thing if you haven’t done it already  - the RSVP form that has its own thread in this forum. It needs to be mailed to @edsnova and if you are going to the awards banquet there is a check involved.

Well I found it. I saved it in my notes on the Mac. But Im to stupid to figure out how to attach it to a email  I guess Ill just write it out on paper with a pen and send it snail mail  I HATE efffen computers

Got it  I guess my computer operates on 120v a/c current, as well as cussing at the SOB to make it work correctly

Funny, that is how mine works too!

In my mind to launch something = Throw the laptop as far as you can

To reboot = Kick it again

To crash= When the computer lands on the ground in pieces 

Dongle= A male computer

Soft wear= Sweat pants

Hard wear= New shoes

Mother board=We got are a$$'s beat with it

Power supply =Coffee

Am I missing something?

Got our sticker today!!!  🥳

Im leaving on the 16th at 6:00am to head to Carlisle. I will be coming from Findlay Ohio. Heading east via Rt30 and getting on I76 in Pittsburg. If anyone wants to meet up along the way, maybe a small caravan. Please let me know

Got everything covered, The pass, The hotel, The banquet, Now Im ready!!!
