You have passed the background check and vetted
I have a question, this is my first year to attend the Carlisle show/meet. I registered online for my show pass and bought a trailer parking pass as well. Do they mail the passes? I have not received anything and I registered over a month ago. Please advise.
They just started to mail them out , some received 2 days ago and I just got mine today
Thanks For the info.!
Just finished spending a small fortune on my tow vehicle to get ready for the event. It is always something, my first Ford truck ever at 58 years old and it has been nothing but trouble. Ford Tough my A## !!!. The 5.4 3V triton engine is an over engineered fragile lump of sh#t..... Ok I am better now. The service department just called with my repair bill and I had to vent. Thanks friends for being there to listen..LOL..
Heck, I registered in January and haven't gotten mine yet. They usually start to trickle out about now.
@JIMMY V Find yourself a private repair shop that knows F150's you'll save a bundle. The 5.4 Triton V-8 is know for more issues than the 4.6 Triton (That I have) One major issue is the fuel pump controller it's located on the frame rail new to the spare tire and along with the spare tire rim the controller corrodes too. When that fails the pump quits and all hell breaks loose with pile of various noises from under the hood, the controller fuse will not look like it's blow because a faulty controller is back feeding the into the fuse. Bottom line for less than $100 buy a fuel pump controller kit.
Mine has been timing set replacement along with cam phasers a few months after that the oil pump needs replaced (the factory pump is a weak unit and the engine needs a constant 25 plus PSI for the variable cam system to work correctly) and they were just in there where it could have been done with nearly the same labor as the timing set. I have owned many Chevy pickups and Suburban's and they are truly tough vehicles. All were sold with over 300k miles still running to happy owners. My 150K Ford is a money pit. To all who hear my words heed my warning. Stay away from Ford trucks pre 2012, I don't know anything about the newer Fords. If I would have done more research on this engine I would have stayed away. The entire line of engines should have been recalled. This is all I want to say about this subject.
Well whadaya know? I get home and there’s my Carlisle stuff. Yay me!
I got mine. I am #60. Does anyone have a lower number?
Not me. I’m 133. 🥴
I'm 799 but only paid on line last week I'll assume that is the total car count for all make cars on the field to date

Oh, I thought you had fallen over due to the bill size (
I just ordered today, so I'll probably have the highest number. But that's what I'm going for, so it's all good LOL.
@Jimmy V.: I'm spending a small(very small?) fortune on my trailer to get that ready. I picked up an old(70s?) Formula Vee trailer that needs a little work to make it road-worthy. Welding on light brackets for new LED lights, new wiring harness, new axle with electric brakes, new holdowns for the car, brake controller in the Audi and associated wiring. Three new radial tires/rims and a spare bracket. Already fabbed up and welded a winch bracket on the front. Nothing much going on here........
I should probably start my own thread.....
truck motor..Cummings diesel, ,damn near, bulletproof, i gave up on Fords in 2000
#143.
I think I have a firm lock on an enclosed trailer and all I have to do is go to a Slayer concert!!
So will the band have one less trailer or will the Groupies have no place to sleep
I am pretty sure Slayer groupies have to sleep in a dumpster pulled behind the tour bus.
#290 here to go on the Starke donor.

My Speedster is at the detailer having the clear coat buffed waxed and polished. My car as I bought it in 2017 had never had the clear coat properly finished. All the haze and light scratches have been removed. Almost ready for Carlisle.
Let me know what Lucas Oil products would be good to donate for the raffle. I live a mile from Lucas oil's main warehouse and headquarters. They are always generous and willing to donate tons of their many products.
Received my show pass today. I am number 418

Okay, sorry, been out of the country and need to catch up here. I have a double room reserved reserved...BUT HAVE NOT FILLED OUT FORMS NOR SENT CHECKS.
Where can I find the forms and reservations stuff. Normally I follow the bouncing ball, but not this year.
Disregard the above message, I feel like a big boy today and will track down the proper form for the gala dinner etc. I made my room reservations months ago. Still not sure if I will be bringing a right seater yet.
Question: Did your wife ever see Mt. Rushmore?

Us too now. Williamsport, Pa overnight on the way. Side roads most of the way to see the inside.
Took the car out this weekend and gave it a good run. Its preforming perfectly. I gathered all my tools, spares, and am filling my iPod . The 15th can't get here soon enough. Im driving Rt30 the old Lincoln Hwy almost the complete trip. Its got some nice little towns, and things you dont see on the turnpike, plus NO TOLLS. I have about 475 miles to drive, so I'm going to take off about 5:00am on Thursday morning. Ill get there some time in the afternoon. Providing I dont stop along the way. Im excited to meet everyone. This is my first time going to Carlisle. I do not have a warden anymore telling me what I can and can't do. Im a free man and it feels great
