Now I see what happened, Jeni. Cory was supposed to put on your underwear backwards to do the dance, and you his.

Wellll ... sh*t. We will have to remedy that this year! 😂😬😳
I’m sure we would all love pics of that 😱😈
Last year was the first year we drove down without the Spyder. It was onlt to the crappiest weather ever forecast and realized.
I have driven the car down at least five times, sometimes in the rain, sometimes not. The rest of the trips I flat-towed.
It's been drier than not, by a good margin. Occasionally we get a washout. Sometimes we get a pop shower. I remember one year it rained during the banquet dinner. Not before or after, or any other time the whole weekend. I would say two complete washouts in 13 years. I'll take those odds.
The weather doesn't much matter to me. This will be my fourteenth trip. That's gotta be saying something.
You, Bill, Paul and I (1992 ) have been going to Carlisle since Moby Dick was a minnow ~
I went to Carlisle several times before 1992, at least once with my 308 replica.
Rain, cold, damp... Carlisle is always a highlight of my year. I still remember the first time we all (SOC group) got together and met each other, and greeted each other like long lost friends.
You can't get much better than that...
Agree Bob ! The socializing with our extended family is why I go to Carlisle .
A good spring shower is needed by all

Oh come on. You should take at least one a month.
Nah you only shower or bath if you’re dirty
Carlisle : I've arranged a visit at the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing in York Springs PA http://www.emmr.org/ This will be on Friday AM after our Free Breakfast Buffet at the Courtyard hotel. The car museum is a one hour cruise on country back roads to the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing in York Springs PA . We were there back in 2005 it's well worth another visit as they continually make changes . There is admission charge, of course donations are encouraged and appreciated.....More Carlisle weekend news to come from Ed as we get closer to the date.
Correction: NO admission charge.
Donation's accepted.
This place is the ballz. Tons and tons of race cars on two floors, lots of lore, everything right up in your grill.
I remember going there in 2006. That place was a hoot, as was the Wild Bill ride to get there if I remember.......
I think everyone liked the EMMR , it had all types of racing on display.
Plus, it covers most of the East coast racing in the days of dirt tracks and early, short tracks (1/4 and 1/2 mile ovals) from the 1930's to present.
I love that museum and I even saw mention of cars and drivers that I had watched here in New England when I was a kid in the '50's and 60's at Westboro Speedway (now a mall). Guys like Red Bezo:
I love the "headers" on that one. Single Stromberg carb so don't know what class it was running but a flathead at 239 CI and single carb was stock (Mine was pushing 290 CI with dual Strombergs).
We had a VERY knowledgeable guide who seemed to know a whole lot about every car in every display. As we were leaving one area and following him to the next, my son taps my shoulder and points to a car we had just been looking at. Above the driver's door was our guide's name as "Driver".
Very cool.

The World of Outlaws runs at the nearby Williams Grove Race track... The only tickets available and scarce, are lousy viewing areas but they are there the Friday and Saturday nights of the Carlisle weekend. World of Outlaws racing is something to see...wildly fast!
Gordon, I spoke with Judy from the museum she said " Lynn " had quadruple by pass surgery and is bouncing back.
I know I went there my first Carlisle (2005) and we went back just a few years ago.
Yes. Even I remember going there. A good visit.
That's good news about Lynn, Alan. Not that he needed a Quad, but that he came through it OK and is recovering well.
Here we are, heading to the Museum. No, that is NOT Pearl towards the front. We took the pickup. I think that's Hoss right in front of me:
Pearl was back here, hiding under her blue tarp:
And here's Bruce Stumpp, after the trip:
We've had sunny (and HOT) years, too!

Anyone heading to the Courtyard Marriott Hotel a day early on Wednesday the 15th ? So far it's Connie and myself, Heidi and Al Gallo and Gerd......We did this last year it was relaxing to arrive early and head out for dinner.
Maybe but probably not, Alan. Lenny and I did that in 2015 I think. I think Jeni and Cory may be joining you.

NO WAY
Question.
I land in Harrisburg on Wed afternoon. 430 to be exact. I will uber to the hotel in Shippensburg. How many miles from the airport to the hotel?
Gerd, have you heard of this new-fangled thing called Google maps?
I'm guessing less than 50 miles.
Google says 53.5 miles and 59 minutes of travel. Ha!
Six weeks and counting(or less for the Wednesday peeps).
Danny, that's too far for me. Can we move everything over to Harrisburg. I have Vinces credit card info and can charge all related expenses to it
