I'm thinking about it...
Ed, Stumpp, not Stumpf.
There's a very good chance I will be going to Carlisle with my son Jeff & will know on or before 4/28.
Like Dr. Bob, I’m thinking about it.
Got something that’s currently in the way, but I’m working on it.
ElGordo: Like Leroy Jethro Gibbs would say: work harder!!.
And its Frazer, not Fras-ee-er or Frayshure. ElFrazoo will do. My pass arrived yesterday too.
I'm fixin' to be there thurs. There is talk about a reunion of sorts for what was once called the east coast caravan, something @Lane Anderson probably started. I hear Laner is not coming because its just too damn far, and he's foresworn replicas in favor of a real car, or some such pansy-ass excuse, although, if he could find a way to fly in to Philly or Harrisburg or even BWI, certain conveyances might be arranged for him. But that's not the point here. The point is: will there be an East Coast caravan meeting for lunch somewhere around I70/I81/Hagerstown vicinit? I recall a certain Cracker Barrel . . . Anyway, if the timing is right, I'm certainly willing to posse up. @edsnova, Stumpp (not -mph), Merklin might too, and the @Cory Drake Drakes now live up that way. Paul and Glenn? Any others?
... and I remembered to reserve a room.
@edsnova, we gonna do anything with the dune buggy folks? Chile cook-off?? Bring some beer?

Laner's not coming because we have a couple of budget-busting trips for family stuff this year, Mr. Frazeeyur.
It was either Carlisle OR the Tour de Smo'. Had to choose one or the other.

Sorry Bruce! Not sure what happened there
OMG!?!?!?
Has East Coast Bruce forgotten how to spell his name, again???

Too many, I think.
Gordon , Get with Chris and do the trip to Carlisle..... Ed go through the old lists and rattle some cages to motivate the Old Guard....It's time to relive some old memories and make some new ones too as no one is getting any younger! .... My Doc will probably say I can adjust things a bit hence, I'll be there!
X2 what Alan says.
It would be so nice to get the numbers up again - those were good days, and I'm not willing to accept that they are gone forever.

Yeah, me, too.
Last visit was 2018 ( I know - wow... ) and since then, life has been getting in the way.
Chris recently started a new job and I don't know his availability (he's working on it) and we have a previous commitment that week, so I'm working on that, too.
There's a possibility, just don't hold your breath.....
( Now, where did I put my Heavy-Duty sailing raincoat? )
Update: We are again nestled in our fence-side spot near the good bathrooms.
I have mapped out a Friday cruise and Saturday dinner is going to be like last year. Menu details tk.

Hey @edsnova, do you have a step off time for Friday’s cruise? We are coming up that morning and want to go with.
Hey Guys, am watching your schedule take shape... it doesn't look like there is an organized chance to get together with the Dune Buggies. Enjoy fellas !!! Definitely get back to the event at its purest. The fire pit will be on and open late at nights in the campground. See you all on the infield at some point. Andy

The Cracker Barrell we would meet at was in Chambersburg PA exit 14.
.....I may very well make it there, I will know this week !_
Friday cruise is going to start circa 10 am.

Do you still own a Speedster?
Yup.... Still have Pearl and still running great! (Me, too....) 🙄
Sorry I didn't chime in sooner. I've been way too busy working but now it's time to gear up for the car show. I'm in with both of my cars. The speedster and the Cobra. Ed, you got me on the ticket number. Here's mine.

Howdy Speedster guys and gals, my last attempt for a gathering. Thursday night dinner at the campgrounds - likely around 7pm, Everyone is invited for a Hot Dog, "Best of the Wursts", and Sausage sammie party. We will have a lot of food and keg of cold Keystone Light. If anyone wants to bring something extra, feel free, but show up with your cars and chat if you all are looking for something to do. We are headed to Gettysburg on Thursday for a long cruise so likely be back around 6pm to start the festivities around 7pm.

I'd like to go to that!
P cars are have a swap meet soon at Carlisle. too early
I have confirms from Jack and son, and Glenn and Paul for Thursday lunch meet up, We do not have a location set exactly, but the Chambersburg CB is a good one I think. Will start another thread for the "East Coast Caravan."
I would love to meet up with the Dune Buggy guys again - it was fun last year and great food. I sounds like Thursday evening is open and they offered.
Unfortunately, I'm out again this year - seems I make it every 3 years. Let me know if you happen to see a Dolphin Mod-T Shriner dune buggy there. Made in late '90's by Dolphin Industries in Pompano Beach, FL. Mine is an unusually 4 seater - mose duen buggies are 2 seaters. I'd like to find out more about it. Here's mine - photo from years ago.

Nope, I can blame that one on Ed.
@Jeni Drake posted:Hey @edsnova, do you have a step off time for Friday’s cruise? We are coming up that morning and want to go with.
ED, we're looking for that info too. Sounds like you're doing lunch and then the bridge tour? If so we'll shoot to join up at lunch.
I am afraid that I cannot make it this year. We are helping with some of the logistics so that one of our neighbors' little girl can do a "Make a Wish" trip to Disney World and we'll be busy here that entire week. I tried to find a way to get to Carlisle, but it just ain't gonna happen.
All Y'all can have an Egg Sammich for me, with extra bacon, of course! For that matter, get a Bagel in the hotel restaurant and munch on it while roaming around the parking lot.
Gordon
We are going to miss you....hope i don't need a clutch cable this year.
Paul
Mr. Drake is equally qualified at doing field replacements of clutch cables. When he’s not cleaning idle jets……. 🙄
Trur but HE doesn't carry spares.

Plans:
Arrivals begin Thursday via caravans & etc.
Thursday night dinner is with the Dune buggy guys at the field.
Friday 10am step off for a covered bridge tour, which goes to lunch at Grandpa's Love Shack at about 1. From there you can head to the show field, back to hotel or elsewhere.*
Friday dinner is the venerable Restaurant Scramble. Or we can all descend on Pizza Grill again because we're not that big and unwieldy a group.
Post dinner will be bench racing, cigars, secreted cocktails & etc. in and around our hospitality room. There is also a possibility of Sprint Car racing for those who partake.
Saturday is showfield day. Dinner is 6 pm at Snappers (see menu above).
After dinner there's dessert in the hospitality room, and the lamented raffle along with more enjoyable car talk and pie and snax. Do not flaunt your alcohol.
* Possibilities to include: ACAA Museum, Autobahn Indoor Speedway, Macris Chocolates, the Rolls Royce Museum, etc.

Ok, ok, ok, somebody's gotta explain "Grandpa's Love Shack" in the middle picture. If y'all stop there you have to take pictures.
