I bought a t-shirt from Cory (and a tool bag & and a cooler).  Cory is a rightous dude, but I have no idea why he boiught so many shirts.  It's better to buy less and sell out rather than to over stock and get stuck with them. Just my two cents.

I re-read what I wrote and although I am from the school of hard love I also would help the guy out.

Holy smokes!

Leon told me you guys were lining up to make some contributions. This is really touching!

We have a couple to mail that came in at the eleventh hour, for which we received checks, and still have around 40 shirts in large, extra-large and 2XL.

Syl Mathis bought all five of the 3XL shirts. What an awesome guy -- thank you, Syl!

Let me take stock of exact numbers in the next day or two (I'll be home tomorrow), and I'll open a new shirt thread for you guys to sign up for them.

Marty, I get that about orders and stock. We've done this for a number of years, and never had this problem before. Pre-ordering was fine with plastisol, but finding a close water-based screener meant working deadlines differently, and the process is (apparently) more time consuming.

I ordered these based on demand signal from e-mail and phone calls, then opened the mailbox for checks. Only seventy pre-orders actually arrived in the mail, leaving me with 80 left for the show.

The coolers didn't sell, either, and I have no idea why. They're pretty great.

Every single tool bag went at the show, which pleased me greatly.

This is fantastic, and I'm grateful to you all for the offer to help out. The lesson I've learned from this, I think, is that I should hand some art off to Rich Drewek or to CafePress next year, and just enjoy the show.

This year's event was dampened by this experience.
