I have been in contact with the SCCA officials running the AutoX at Carlisle. Last year we were able to "reserve" a block of time on Friday evening for a Saturday morning run. So far, it looks as if we can do it again. I am waiting to hear when we can show up and register and what the registration fee will be. We paid up front on Friday.
How about a head count of those who want to run?

Lane, if you break anything, you've got a hundred people to help you fix it. No, you only drive as hard as you want to. It's a blast.
Done a lot of auto crossing in a lot of different cars.
The only thing I ever broke was the shift lever off of an Alpha 2000 "Graduate"
You'd think they would-a made those pencil-thin levers a little beefier, wouldn't 'cha?
Lane, it's a fairly tight (ie: slow) course.
But last year a young man did stuff his Miata into the embankment. Ended up perched on a forty five degree angle, thankfully when they pulled the car off, the only damage was to the front valance.
Wobby's (That Crazy MG guy) voice rings in my ears, "Ain't nothing good ever come from racin'." Of course he was uttering those words even as he helped Ed remove everything they could from Ed's TD to lighten it up.
What time are you planning on running?
the runs start at 10:00 AM. and are spaced in one hour intervals. Given the choice of 10:00 or 11:00, I would prefer 10:00, but that's just me. If the majority of entrants want a different time, so be it. Let's hear opinions.

There is no Auto cross until Saturday. As it's a first come, first served affair, we will be registering Friday night ahead of the crowd to ensure we can run all together as one group.

I'm almost certainly NOT gonna make it this year. Working on maybe getting Bridget in tight enough shape to flat-tow. This engine-swapping business is harder than Stroud makes it look!
