Gordon....
The New Jersey Replicar Club formed in 1991, with four guys meeting in a diner. Where else would they meet, this is NJ!
The mid-1990's were probably the best years for our Carlisle attendance.
But even at our peak, I'd have to say it was 20 to 25 cars.
Some where I have a great panorama shot of one of NJRC's largest car gatherings. I'll try to dig that out
Meanwhile, this group shot is from 1999:

For a quick blast from the past, I photographed the 1999 show for Curt Scott. Take a look...

An open note to all ya'll here...
Al swears he's gonna get me into a Speedster some day. But meanwhile, I motor along in my VW powered MG TD.
Thank you for your hospitality at Carlisle to a few former NJRC guys and a few MG TD replica owners. Some of you know the Speedster group got its start at Carlisle by joining with the NJRC for registration, hotel and dinner. With the NJRC gone and the TD club still trying to build our own attendance, it's nice to have a place to hang and such great people to hang with.
There were three TDs at the 2010 show (two of which are owned by Speedsterowners.com members). There would have been four had I not lost my engine 50 miles into my drive. We will have at least four in 2011 (hey, don't laugh that's a 33% increase!). I have told all of them to select Speedster Group when they register for the show.
The TD replica owners have our own forum and club at http://www.tdreplica.com/. Stop by if you feel like it. There's some great TD history of originals and kits (a few manufactures that also produced Speedster kits), assembly manuals, wiring schematics...a bunch of stuff...not as comprehensive as what we have here, but interesting and perhaps useful
