Greetings Dusty;
We are in the lookout for your story on the mags, let us know as soon as it makes it... Also I got some nice pix of the build, I shared them with Gordon, they may be available at the websites sometime too.
Lane: how did your ride made it through the factory check? Im sure the guys scored an A on the build!

JJ, et al, I have posted 8 pictures of the car in my gallery. Let's see if I can get one or two of them to show up here.

Permagrin in place ond fully operational.
Hey Lane!

I empathize with your frustration in dealing with the MENSA members at the DMV - if it's any consolation, I'm sure you'd have the same luck anywhere in this country dealing with Gov/County beaurocrats - same picture, different frame!

You car looks great, nice color combo and set-up! I recommend that your first LEGAL drive in that bad-boy should be done with a full tank of gas, your coolest shades on, 'Free Bird' blazing on the stereo and nowhere in particular to go - but getting there FAST!!

Hang in there, my Speedster brutha!
Lane, I don't feel so bad now.....although this kind of misery is not good to share.

I bought the last Vintage in stock from Bill Dodgen. (By the way, the car really was as stated, only had 116 miles on it, and yes - for those of you I met at Carlisle - I can drive it, although "a perfect fit" is not the phrase I would use).

Bill faxed all the paperwork on Friday, before I made the purchase - and I physically visited the Oklahoma agency beforehand to make sure there wasn't anything else needed (even got the official Oklahoma bill of sale form and mileage declaration) and the agency assured that everything was in accordance with the requirements.

Bill and I completed the transaction on Saturday.

I showed up at the agency with the documents, insurance binder, and a big grin on Monday - and the same guy (I wanted to take no chances) ended up telling me it couldn't be done. AAAAaaaaahhhhhHHHHHH!

Well, I've started communications with Kirk and Bill and I'll have to see what can be done to get me out of "limbo".

Oklahoma apparently has some crazy clause that says you have 30 days to officially register a car. Not sure if I believe it or not - and I'm trying to be ssssoooooo good.....

Lane, buddy, I understand your pain.
