Done!  Is the hotel set up and ready for us to make reservations?

I've been trying to make reservations online at Mechanicsburg Courtyard Marriott for a couple of weeks now, but the message is that there are no rooms available.  I guess it could be a block for overseas inquiries, but I've used that method quite a bit in the recent past.  

Anyone else successfully made reservations online?

I called and made them weeks ago.

Jim...I just spoke to the hotel   717-766-9006 and spoke to a Lad who said that our SOC block looks like it is sold out. He said to call Becky tomorrow and confirm that. If you like, I can do that for you tomorrow and report back here asap.

If I can gaff you a room, I'd be happy to do that on my card. Pls. reply to this message now if possible. How many people and for how many nights ?

Sold out?!  We usually don't even have it set up by now.  Holy crap!

         The Hotel for Carlisle weekend ( for the general public) is sold out but the SOC Block is reserved for,  the SOC.                                                                                                           I had designated within the 2016 Hotel / SOC contract that reservations are to commence on January 1st (as in past years) and that, is probably the glitch.            

         I will call Becky at the hotel tomorrow and will post all hotel reservation info tomorrow evening until I post the info in a...... new post thread.....stand by.

Thanks for your kind and generous offer, but I'll wait for Allan to clear this up with the hotel, then book online.  

Well, I was able to book a while ago, so I hope I didn't break some SOC covenant or something.

Whew!  Alan, you're my hero. :-D

I booked my room on saturday morning with no issues. I just got the tickets for the show, I think I'm good at this point.  I hope there are enough rooms for everyone

When registering for Carlisle please don't forget to indicate your club as  “SPEEDSTER OWNERS”, this helps us to get our own tent erected on the showfield for the weekend.  And the more registrations, the bigger the tent!  

I'm this case SIZE does matter, yes I was sure to include that I was with the group 

There is a registration holiday sale on right now until 12/31 with 20% off the registration fee.  After 12/31 there will be a 10% Gate-N-Go pre-registration discount up until April 18th, 2016 at midnight EST and your entry window sticker will be mailed to you . These discounts are applied at checkout. After registering, a receipt will be emailed to you and they ask that you bring your receipt with you.   

And one more reminder: Don't forget to indicate your club as  “SPEEDSTER OWNERS”
