On a side note, I just found out that Streetbeasts will be at Carlisle this year. They asked me to have my car in thier display but I told him that I was needed with the SOC group to contribute to the "Out-number the Cobras" effort.

I think I will pose as a potential speedster buyer and see what Street Beasts song and dance routine I get as far as a "complete kit" goes...then follow up by "how do I install the rear suspension" cause their tech support aka "Tony Bologna" didn't have a clue :)

I'll bet after Carlisle, Streetbeast will offer you or Jerome the job of Technical Consultant for thier vast (LOL) Speedster sales.I believe that my kit is only the 4th they produced."Erroneous Tony" says that he only really is aquainted with the Street-Rod end of thier products.Technical support is vertually non existent for the Speedster.

I wonder how the street rod end of the business is doing.

Lots of really good competitive products similar to their street rod bodies out there, and from proven manufacturers, too.

ONE LARGE please....maybe he can send it from Ontario direct to me???

Streetbeasts will be at Carlisle for their "Fall Show",according to their schedule.From Sept.28th-Oct.2 they won't be at Carlisle for the "Import and Replica Car Show".Guess you will have to wait till then for your Tech. Support job interview.Ask them if they will pay you or Al Merklin to rewrite their build manual for the Speedster. The current manual sucks!!!

They told me they are coming to both shows. They went to the Fall show last year and got a good response so they are doing both this year.

Hey Gordon, you would appreciate this. I caught a glimse of an advertisement on the side of the road; I think it was in AZ. They were hawking jerky, pork rinds, and "blue stuff" whatever the hell that is. Maybe that combo is good for a thousand miles. At least it might smooth out some of the wrinkles ;-)

"Blue Stuff" was hawked on cable channels for a while, as a cream that was a pain reliever of some sort.

If I remember right, the Federales got after them and nailed them with a multi-million dollar fine for false advertising.

Guess the news hasn't yet reached the outback of Arizona (or they're just selling Turquois - one of the two)
