Hey, better than 2008 calendars, I have genuine 2009 calendars from Classic Motorsports AND Carlisle Productions which have listings of all the Vintage and Historic races for North America (YES! That includes
the three Canuck races, too!)

FREE! Or, almost free, kinda-sorta.....

What'cha gotta do, is show up at Carlisle for a FREE 2009 calendar in the "Speedsters Meet Spyders" tent!!

OK, so there aren't a lot of Speedsters or Spyders in it, BUT there is a really cool Martini Racing Porsche (can I use that word??) 930 Turbo as "Miss May" (the rear slicks are friggin, enormous!!) and a Lola T70 Can-Am racer as "Miss September"!

PLUS, you get the entire Historic Series and Vintage Series racing calender for all of 2009!! For instance, you woul,d be forewarned that the Historic Series Races will be held at Hutchinson Island Race Course in Savannah, Georgia (home of song writer, Johnny Mercer), April 2 - 5. Pretty cool, huh?

I can also parcel post them for $5 shipping and handling.

This is no BS - I just got these, TODAY, from the Carlisle folks to entice the largest Kit Car Group at Carlisle to return for 2009......

Oh....BTW....Miss October is a really "hot" chick in a Sunbeam Tiger...OK, so she looks a lot like my 10'th grade English Lit. teacher, Miss Cunningham.....What can I say?? She liked Chaucer...)

Miss December is a pair of Austin Healey 100-4's whomping the heck out of a Bug-Eye Sprite.

Don't Miss It!!!!!!!!

DANNY!!! If you got this far, let us know about Cash in Advance and I'll get a check for two off to ya!

I have dropped off artwork and am waiting to hear if it's ok and all. Will call them tomorrow as I expected to get an answer today.

My son had tubes put in his ears today(again!) so was preoccupied with that. Everything came out ok, then came home to a plugged nozzle in the boiler, just got done messing with that.
Graphics place changed the art to a vector file, still waiting to hear from the stein vendor. Stein guy did say no problem on the time frame, so looking good so far! Once everything is solid, and I have pricing, I will take orders here or maybe on a new thread. Everyone can pay up at Carlisle, much easier for me that way. No problem for me to front the money until then.
This is where we're at today, talked to the stein guy. For a batch of 50, 17.50 each plus $50 shipping to me, $65 setup fee, and $40 to alter the artwork for size and resolution. That comes to $1030, divided by 50 is $20.60 each. I will let you know when they'll be done, that should be it, just bring your money to Carlisle. I count about thirty wanted already, and not all have responded. So I think they should all be gone. I hope to sell them all, but if not they can be mailed after the event. Thanks all.
Ok, that brings it up to 31, if Marty buys 2, 32.

We are on track with the supplier, and they will be approx. $21 cost. So how do you feel about a couple dollars more and return it to the organizers for compensation of any out of pocket expenses, say $25 each stein?

Please email me at spyderman1 "AT" frontiernet "DOT" net. Replace the "AT" with @ and the "DOT" with a period, no spaces. I will respond with my snail-mail address. Deadline will be May 5, that way I can pay for the steins without too much out of pocket.
I sent you all an email this morning. Sorry for the delay, but I wanted to make sure the steins were going to come out ok. I saw the artwork the other day and had to approve it before production. I think they are coming from out west somewhere. They are promised in about two weeks. I have confirmed orders for about 30 out of 50, which was the minimum order.

If you are not on the email list, please send me one so I can add you. They are going to be nice. They sent me the art as a pdf, which I can attach to an email. Thanks all.
The steins are supposed to be in on Monday, will pick them up Monday or Tuesday. I talked to the supplier on Thursday. It is cutting it close, but it ain't horseshoes. Here is here, as long as they are.

I did get some more checks, holding off on deposits until the steins are in.
