Let's hope that the weather is not worse than it has been down here with most of the day being pretty nice and a little "popcorn" storm in the P.M. followed by clearing and then pretty nice once again. I could live with this. Maybe if we do a "no rain dance" we can prevent a total rain out. That would be bad.
From Bill Kehn (a friend of Chris' in the Eclipse club, and a real meteorologist):

"There will be showers and thunderstorms crossing PA during the day Friday which could impact the area midday and afternoon (not sure what time you guys are arriving so I thought it's worth mentioning). After this it turns breezy warm humid both Saturday and Sunday. Isolated thunderstorms late Saturday with temperatures in the 80s. There's a little better threat of showers and thunderstorms on Sunday afternoon with temperatures again in the 80s. 60s at night."

Sounds like good show weather! Showers pass right over a Speedster at speeds over 60mph!

We're almost packed!

We're REALLY ready for this!

See you all in Carlisle!!

Gordon and Chris
Gordon & Jerome,

Thanks for the updates on weather! We're ready. I've received several calls and e-mails from people who are packed and ready to go or already on the road this morning. Our plan is to hit the road EARLY tomorrow morning, stop by the hotel (hopefully around 9 but we might be a little later so don't wait for us) and then on to the fairgrounds. We'll be watching for the arrivals!
