I watched the video and having done a few dozen carpet installs,  I suggest on the L & R vertical kick panels you do not extend the carpet all the way out on the leading door jamb but leave 3/4" for your door weather stripping to butt against the fiberglass instead of the carpet. Also I don't use the gray insulation material under the carpet because when it gets wet it will stay wet. Note the installer marks the carpet and cuts bigger that needed and go back to do a second trim cut. My order of installation is: Center tunnel, rear tub wall, vertical forward of rear seat, firewall below the tank, L & R kick panels, rockers then passenger and driver's floor carpets. First time install will take you eight hours and 3 cans of 3M large 17 oz. cans of Super 90 spray adhesive. ( easily cleans up with lacquer thinner)
