I made these out of easily-bent aluminum, which have lasted for 10 years now. They can be screwed on or held in place with Velcro.

Do you sell this? This is a great item to save my carpet from my big foot.
I did something very similar, but my interior is deep Burgundy and the silver aluminum would really stand out, so I went with matt black vinyl material that looks like diamond plate. I found it at Home Depot in the flooring department. All I needed for size was the same as their samples hanging up by the flooring Ferris Wheel so I got it for free and applied it with upholstery adhesive over the carpet. That was several years ago and it is holding up really well.
I don't sell them. However they're easy enough to make. Go to Lowes or Home Depot, buy a small sheet of the thinnest aluminum they have, cut to size using wood working tools, and bend to fit.
