I Bought a 56 cmc 356 wide body in 09 I just pulled it out of storage. I would like to re do the carpets and it needs some finishing touch ups.The carpets came out easily and the pans are in excellent shape I used por 415 to seal and protect them.Could I replace the carpet with off the shelf vw set. my other option is to use the old ones as a pattern.

2nd My exhaust comes out towards the passenger side  and is a little low and rattles against the body I would like to do a duel is their something of the shelf i could use.

Tiger at A1 muffler service makes a version of the the "A1 Sidewinder" exhaust that is specific to the speedster kits. It's not cheap, but it works damn well.

 

The other option is something from "Vintage Speed".

 

I'd go with the A1 every day of the week, and twice on Sundays.
