Carrera Fan Shroud

Is anyone or has anyone made a repro Carrera fan shroud for the 356 engine or Type I engines?

Dotto for a Type IV. I'm in the market. Doesn't have to be new. Just has to work.

I have been approaced by several serious enthusiasts about developing the Carrera arrangement. There have been a couple of enthusiasts take stabs at the development, but to date none of the systems have benefited from any comparative analysis.

If I did work toward developing such an arrangement I would require no less than 15 of the units to be pre-sold to guarantee at least some return on my investment of time and resources.

It would be mandatory that the system not just "look" the part, butbe fully functional and provide atleast the same cooling margins as the stock cooling system for the TI/TIV engine. I refuse to develop components that are not practical.

The cost of such as system would exceed 2K bucks per unit, undoubtedly. This is due to a used Carrera fan going for 700 bucks alone-

Now who is serious? Get me 15 units sold and I'll create it.

JAKE - I need a better number to call you on than the one on your site. That number didn't work when I called it a few weeks ago, but your Type IV system is what I really want. Please have a look at my engine and tell me if you can help!
I will order the sum'b*tch as soon as you give me the good word. I just want to know what extras I don't need!
