Yes, I saw that as well, but I was thinking someone here might know someone in the race. I did the race years ago in a 1955 Chrysler a couple of times (un-spectacularly)

Theres a race coming up in mid May 2017 in Mexico called the Rally Historico Peninsular, 1000 miles on pavement ending in Cabo San Lucas the tip of Baja. vintage cars as well as modern in different category, the same organizer is trying to set up a hill climb event which looks interesting. I might try and put one of my old racers back together and go, I've got about eight months to get ready how hard could that be? Anyone want to ride along as navigator? It would help if you spoke Spanish, laughed at my jokes, and tolerated old country and western music
