OK - am I the ONLY one that thought this Metropolitan was way cool (plus the fact that it was driven to and from the car meet that morning!).

I think that was way cool as well. When I was growing up my neighbor used to buy metro's and restore them. I was restoring a 1967 MGB at the time and most of our engine parts were the same. However with this one, there is nothing British about it. Very cool machine!

Jim, there's no way I'd hold a candle to that dude. THAT little guy is tres cool.

Many quarters dropped into the coin slot to make that go like that!

I sat here laughing my A$$ off!!! Metro's were NEVER known for being able to get out of their own way, especially the several owned by a lady-friend (college room-mate) of my mom's back in the 50's and 60's, but that one was the Cat's Pitutie!!

Love the flames.......and the trouble the guy had with desperately trying to get his foot OFF of the gas so it would go forward and not straight up.
