Where is Cars and Coffee?

Jennifer; Cars & Coffee is held every Saturday morning (07:00-09:00) at the Ford Design Building in Irvine, Orange County. Depending on your reference, its across the street from The Irvine Spectrum which is at the junction of the 405/5 Fwys.

Ben; Are you looking to get out of the snow/cold for a day or so?

Oscar - If you're going to roll all the way from PV to Irvine for Cars & Coffee this Saturday I'll be there just before 07:00. Give a holler and we'll hook up at the meet!

Looks like I'll give it a try. Drove the speedster to work to day and its running great. Probably drive it tomorrow too. Any other so cal crazy nuts available?

Gabriel,Where in Placentia do you live? I think I saw you driving your speedster down Orangethorpe one day. I'm in Placentia at Orangethorpe and Richfield. I hope to go for a cruise this weekend,I'm getting tired of just looking at the car in the garage!

Hey, if the weather looks good I'll try and make it too. how early do you have to get there?

Ken, Yeah it might have been me. I take that route to catch the 91 @ state college to work. I am off of rose and yorba linda blvd, across from the hospital. Sounds good, we need to hook up for breakfast or something. You ought to try the cars & coffee meet someday with our gang of misfits.

Well I met up with the gangstas, a guy named Jim who looked like the main dude, Mark the hit man, Polynesianpop who claimed to be in the software business but I believe he was hiding the mob's money offshore and the legal guy Peter from out of state who I believe was running from the law and hiding out in Newport. It was a pleasure meeting these guys and the time went so fast. So many cool cars and people,we hardly had time to check out other Speedsters. I had to leave my house at 5:15 but it was worth it. I took a camera but forgot about taking pics. Thanks to Jim for being the point man.I can't wait for summer to check it out! I'm just the cook.

It was a fun time as always. Oscar - nice ride ya got there! Can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can all go on a local run again. Next time, maybe Chip can join us...

Adrian do you know who had the Black and tan speedster?

Not sure. I saw the driver as he left the parking lot but I didn't recognize him.

It was good to see my SOC peeps at the Cars & Coffee meet Saturday morning.

Oscar - glad to meet you and see that you're enjoying your Speedy. It only gets better!

Peter - I enjoyed our conversation and could sense your excitement about getting a coupe to cruise in! I offer all best wishes for getting a car you'll enjoy for many miles!

Adrian - Chip Foose called and said thanks for the design tips you gave him for his next project car!
