Must be somebody with a car that just looks like mine. That old wrinkled up, gray haired driver is way too old looking to be me. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. P.S. Thanks for the heads-up, it is a nice pic of the car.

I am planning on taking the Ghia to the cars and coffee tomorrow morning....I need directions off the 405.....

OK now do we REALLY want Vince at C & C tomorrow? Here is a wonderful opportunity to send him somewhere so he won't make it there on time?

* 405 south to Irvine
* Take the Irvine Center Drive exit (Irvine Amphitheater)
* Turn left onto Irvine Center (back over frwy)
* Turn right at 4th traffic signal (1st traffic signal past Alton)
* Lot gets crowded at 07:00am

No $hit...got one of the last spots in the main lot....Met up with Mark minus his Viking horns and we cruised the lot together....
Very cool indeed....The Ghia stood out like a sore thumb, but it seemed to be accepted by most....

Cars and Coffee ROCKS! El Guapo had suggested it for us a couple of years ago when we were down for Knotts. It was a BLAST!

Vince, my man! great seeing you this morn. First shake down run with the new engine...... After I left "Cars and Coffee" I Broke a throttle cable at Brookhurst and the 405 Pulled over ...No tools of coarse...stuck a dime between the idle adjust screw (a nickel would probably been better, might have hit 3rd gear) and limped off thy fwy to Magnolia. Fast idled down Warner to Vee Dub Parts and bought 2 new cables. borowed a pair of dykes and fixed it right there. It's always something! I hope to have a trouble free cruze next week, maybe all I need is my co piolet to change my luck.

Damn! I have been in Florida on business for 10 days and not only miss Vince's first C&C, but Marko's 3rd break down! I am never leaving SoCAL again!
