I replaced my front brake shoes last night; probably need to bleed them but they work OK. I'm in for poker and Susan plays too but I doubt she can make it.

I'm in. Just found out my grandson has 3 more football games I can make. And, watching the difference between the local TV weathermen and NWS computer predictions, it may give me a chance to evaluate my modified weather stripping since the Paso run.

Rain.. no biggie bring a towel! Besides when has the local wheather guy or gal EVER been correct when it comes to amount of and location of rain... LOL... besides I heard that it was possible chances for Friday evening and Saturday morning... we will dry off by the time we get to Adrians..

Rain would be a bummer since I have yet to waterproof the boot; last time I washed the car I shorted out my amp. I should really get some side curtains too.

If it rains in the morning I will have to sit out the canyon drive as I my speedy has NO top and my wipers are NOT connected!

Here's the deal --
For those with tops that still want to run thru the canyon, I will still host the Tech Day BBQ as I am sure it will dry off by the time everyone gets here.

If I end up not doing the canyon run with you all, Jim will lead the group to the Tech Day BBQ at my place as I emailed him directions.

I just found out the rain and checked the site. If no rain I would love to go but I hope not.

As of this writing, the chance of rain for Friday evening is 35% (very low odds). Saturday morning may see damp ground and only partly cloudy skies and mid 70s temps.

I am meeting Will Pierson earlier Saturday morning and we will be at Target/Mission Viejo at 09:00am to wait for those hearty souls willing to brave the weather. My cell is (949) 294-6302. For those unable to make Target should still go directly to Adrian's around 11:30am for Tech Day BBQ (PM Adrian Polynesianpop for directions).

Either way, looking forward to getting together with my SOC buddies.

Looks like no rain for the morning, but still cool temps. The surf report shows only 2-3 foot swells & poor shape in HB, Desi, so try to make it to C&C.

I'll see the C&C group in the morning around 07:00 at our pre-arranged rendevous points, and then afterwards we'll head over to Target and see who else shows up. We'll be leaving Target at 09:30am to head to Adrian's via the route through the canyons (minus Carbon Cyn).

Adridan called me but unfortunately, I was suffering from a major infection that started in a growth under one of my molars. Had to have the tooth, infection and growth removed. And coincidental to these problems, I developed Bell's Palsy in the left side of my face. {probably as a result of a virus and my immune system being taxed)

Not a happy time. Fortunately, everything has healed, the infection is gone, the growth was benign and I have recovered 99.99999% from the Bell's Palsy.

Dang Larry - take care! And if you're filling too sick to drive the 911, just let me know....
