Spyder is running good and you're supposed to drive them so I booked out to the mall at 7 this morning with the seat heaters on and a jacket.

The place got busy pretty fast. Bruce came with his Speedster but told me he had to park way out on the edge of the lot. The F-car guys were in full effect.And these dudes were right across the aisle...

There was a sweet couple who came in his and hers 600cc turbo whatever these are. Right hand drive. Make a Spyder look like a limo.

This thing caught my eye. Hey, that's not a "Shelby" autograph.

The guy (not shown) who owns this black Porsche says he used to have a Beck. Also used to have a 930.

The Spyder was something of a crowd magnet.

That is the AutoZam and it was built by Mazda and powered by a Suzuki motor. Sold exclusively in Japan. Suzuki later came out with their own version and badging.

@edsnova Yeah, Spyders tend to draw a crowd at "general" car shows. Glad you're enjoying it.

They even draw a crowd at Lime Rock Vintage Festival. Just getting gas. Pretty much a crowd, wherever they go.

An Autozam was making the C&C rounds here, about two years ago, just after they turned 25 and became legal to import.

Only 600cc, but they managed to get 65 hp out of it, and it looks like it weighs about the same as an NFL linebacker.

Developed by the Miata team at Mazda.

I think Costco Japan was selling them for a while - but only in a four-pak.

They're like Pringles chips. You can't eat just one. And you can't claim to not have enough "garage space."

They weigh 1600 pounds. So pretty light but not Spyder light.
