Cars and Coffee Miami - Coupe Sighting | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

This past weekend I went to my first Cars and Coffee in Miami (Really Kendall, basically another city) but its still Miami-Dade County. Went with my Mini version 2.0. Mostly tuners there but some nice collectibles such as the new Acura NSX and others. No speedsters though, but a rare sighting of this 356A Coupe, owner wasn't around at time of pic so couldn't ask any questions but the vanity plate read 58 356A so assume it meant 1958. Suspect it is a recreation, just thought I'd share with everyone here.

At least I won't be alone when I start attending regularly next year. I guess this C&C is very different than what most in this forum are used to. Here they serve Cuban coladas for the most part. You all should try one.

The VW bug looks gigantic next to it..

The 911 next to it was a 2016 Porsche 991-2 Turbo S. Instant collectible and you probably have to drop $200K plus to have it in your garage. Color paint is GT Silver Metallic, whatever happened to the number coding? Coupe was 5806 Silver Metallic which is my favorite.

They are a spin off of the Chicago Group that's becoming a pretty big deal. Pre-1990 European Classics. Every time I am down I miss it because its only the last Sunday of the month.

This is great! Thank you. It takes me less time to get to Ft. Lauderdale than it does to Kendall. The one I went to is the 2nd Saturday of the month so if this one is the last Sunday of the month then I'll just go to both. I'll be in Boston the last Sunday in June so will check it out next month. Hope the Mini qualifies as a 'prospective' classic.

Went to Cars, Arts and Caffeine this morning in Ft. Lauderdale and guess what the event flyer is featuring.... A speedy. Attendance was low but there were some hot cara there including and OEM Shelby Cobra, an extinct Pantera, a Ferrari 430 Enzo and a rarely seen up closr Bugatti Veyron. Also the Tron rlectric motorcycle and the Phantom Rescue guys there promoting their charity and cause. The Mini got some attention too as was the only one on the lot. All in all a good morning. Hopefully there are some Speedsters or Coupes next time..
