Anybody going to Hunt Valley tomorrow (9/7)? I don't have the 356 or the Speedster at the moment, but I'm thinking about riding up in the 911 just as a spectator.
I might take a ride.

Timing has not been good for me attending the HVCC's the past couple of months, i fact the same situation for the next few weeks. Glad to see you guys are able to keep things going there by attending.
I rode up to look around and hung out with Ed for a few. Pretty nice turnout. The next "big" one is in October, but I think it's when I'm in Europe.
Going to the HVC&C this Saturday, anyone else stopping by?
Can't do it this weekend.

When is the last C&C at Hunt Valley for the season ? Anyone know ?
Chuck - They run year round, right through winter. In fact, the anniversary is in March.
Oh, OK sweet, going to try and make at least one more either before I sell the cars or put them away in storage for the winter. Thanks Bruce.
Someone brought a heck of a GT-40 to this one. And a first-year Vette that was pretty much perfect.

Looks like good weather but I'm scheduled to ride north in the truck to pick up me new transaxle.
And bring him the old one too I guess.

I'll be there but probably in the daily driver, the toys are mostly apart right now. Hope to see you there.
I'd like to ride up in the morning (11/29), but I'm not sure I can squeeze it in. Sheilah's Mini Cooper is being delivered from Nevada between 10:00 and noon.
We always do a top-down drive on Christmas day regardless of the temperature and wearing our Santa hats - as long as it's not raining or snowing. Once cruised for a couple of hours in single-digit temps with no heater boxes, brrrr. 
Followed by a couple of Jamesons to warm us up.
The next HV C&C we can make - weather permitting - is 12/21. Maybe a few more Speedster owners can join us in Hunt Valley that morning?

Dang Bruce, yer making me feel like wimp! I drove to our Cars & Coffee today, but had the top up and windows on. I figured everyone else would do the same as it was 36 when I left the house. Almost every other convertible there had the top down, so I felt rather wimpish then as well.
Anyone going to make it this morning? I still have a mound of hard snow in front of the garage and my street is covered in salt. :>(
Temps here in NVA were pretty good the last two days. Took mine out roads were dry over here in Fairfax and the snow is all but gone. Going out today. Maybe take a ride up to Great Falls.
At some point I'll meet up with others in the area. Have been learning from local Syi & Maggie.

Dragged my big ass out of bed, wiped the car down, braved the salty roads and...I was the only Speedster there...
I drove from Fairfax to Great Falls VA C&C. I met a new Intermeccanica Speedster owner Steve? His Speedster was dark blue, a 1600 with electric windows, radio/CD player and other goodies. It was really beautiful, I think he said it was built in 2004. Not sure who he bought it from.
He had not heard about the SOC. Suggested he check it out. Weather for riding was great here in NVA Pretty much drove all day running Christmas duties.

I would love to go up to Carlisle with Syl, Maggie and all you guys from the SOC but my son graduates from VMI on May 16th. I may still try and get there but can't make all the events.

Sorry we missed you. I still had a big, frozen snow pile in front of the garage door and our street was absolutely covered with wet salt. Was hoping we'd get a big rain storm on Friday and wash everything away but it didn't happen. And with all the melting and wet streets I didn't think anyone would make it. We'll get this group together yet.
It was a surprisingly decent turnout. I got there right at 8:00 and I was all by myself. I thought "Oh, great." But by 8:15 there were about 100 cars. Not bad.

I went to C&C in Charleston on Saturday and it hit 80 degrees, a new record for the date. The humidity was so high (winds from the south) that it felt almost like summer. Folks were wearing shorts and T-shirts.

Okay, let's try this again. The weather prediction for this Saturday - 12/28 - is 51 degrees with no snow or rain predicted between now and then. All the snow and salt is GONE due to the rain and warmer temps over the past couple of days
Unless there is a change in the weather we WILL be at the HVC&C with the Speedster this Saturday . If you haven't put your baby away for the winter, come out and join us and get ready to ring in the new year. Afterwards, cruise to our place for hot chocolate, coffee, etc...we're only about 10 minutes from Hunt Valley.
51 is nice jacket weather. If it's sunny you should have a good turn out.
We'll be up to Hunt Valley this weekend. Not sure what we're bringing yet.
