I want to make my car as OUTLAW as possible and find that the wheels on misses April, June and November go far to accomplish that goal.  Can someone give me details as to hubs, lug spacing etc.  R they 5 X 130?  I have a wide body CMC.  Wheel wells filled with 8 inch (4" backspace) rims with 225.55.15 with Ford pattern.  Unfortunately the adapter plates are .5 inch thick and cause rubbing on fenders.  I would like to either find wheels with one inch more backspace or wheels that do not use adapters.

If the 1/2" adapters are causing rubbing issue then go with new drums/discs that are drilled for the wheels you have.  Porsche 5 lug, ford and chevy pre-drilled drums/discs are available or you can have your's redrilled or get blank ones and have them drills.  They are near same price as stock drums.  Assume back is only place you have issue - if so continue with adapters in front.

Thanks so much Wolfgang.  Found drums on SoCal Imports.  As to calendar I was reading it wrong. It was the July and sept cars that had the wheels I liked.  I guess that was too difficult  to be pointed out.

Anywhoo I got my answer.  THis is a great site.  I have had three replicas and do not even fool with my 993 anymore, so I am off Rennlist.  993 goes to shop for even an oil change.

Building the ramps to get my CMC on the hoist I just bought.  WIll post pics once car is in air.  Ramps will not be painted until temps get over -15F and it is worthwhile heating garage.

Preh's Machines in Bend oregon who does all the local VW stuff as well as others will do both rear drums with studs for $100.  THanks for the tip wolfgang.  I guess I should not call you  how I refer to my cousin ----Wolfie.  I love that name and we were going to name our first born wolfie.  Luckily we had a back up plan when Amanda was born.
